PT LOTTE Chemical Indonesia (LCI) is constructing an integrated chemical complex on the vast 110ha of land located in the Cilegon City Banten. Through this large-scale complex, we intend to strengthen our dominance in the fast-growing Southeast Asian market and achieve vertical integration with the Polyethylene facility that has been currently operated by LOTTE Chemical Titan Nusantara.
LINE Project (LOTTE Chemical New Ethylene Project) is a massive chemical plant construction project in which LOTTE Chemical and its subsidiary LOTTE Chemical Titan invested a total of 3.9 billion USD with the goal of completing by 2025. It is expected to produce 1 million tons of ethylene, 520,000 tons of propylene, 250,000 tons of polypropylene, and other downstream products such as Butadiene, BTX(Benzene, Toluene, Xylene).
This project involved the construction of the largest Naphtha Cracking Center(NCC) in Indonesia and will improve the trade deficit of Indonesia, which currently imports 50% of its total demand while providing the foundation for the development of the local chemical industry and contributing to job creation in Indonesia.
In addition, LOTTE Chemical Indonesia will become a company that grows together with Indonesia through continuous efforts to coexist with local residents and minimize carbon emissions.
